My story

Hi! I'm Marshall! I was rescued at ACT Spay/Neuter Clinic in Stockton, CA. I’m a confident, sweet, curious, playful, and affectionate kitty with master level purrs and some serious biscuit-making skills that can sometimes be a bit naughty at times. Let me tell you about how fabulous I am. I am not shy at all, and I didn’t waste any time checking out my foster home and meeting my foster family when I first arrived. I love receiving attention, and I was so eager to explore my new home and introduce myself. I am full of love for my humans, and I crave their companionship. I love to headbutt your hands to ask for love, and whenever you give me attention, pet me, or pick me up, I will unleash the loudest purrs you've ever heard. I like to greet my fosters when they come home, follow them around the house, and stay by their side when we watch TV together at night. I am a chatty boy, and my fosters say I'm the most vocally expressive cat they've met. I can purr, meow, chirp, snore, and make all sorts of funny and weird little sounds to express my feelings and make you laugh. Whenever you have something to tell me, I'm all ears, and I'm always down to have a heart-to-heart chat with you. I love to play and have the energy to make playtime lots of fun. Did you know that some cats can play fetch and do tricks like dogs? If you didn't, I'll show you! I will bring you toys in my mouth when I want to invite you to play with me, and if you toss the toy for me, I'll happily bring it back. My previous fosters have also taught me tricks like sitting down and jumping through a hoop. I'm such a smart and fun cat! When I’m ready for some down time, I like to hang out in my bed making biscuits, and ideally that bed is right next to you. Although I’m not much of a lap cat yet, I do enjoy it and will purr loudly if you pick me up and put me on your lap. I’m more of a sit beside you cat. Whether I’m enjoying some pets and cheek scritches or just laying about lazily with them, I’m a happy kitty when I’m part of the group with my people. A little bit about my naughtiness, I might bat you or give a little nip if you’re not paying attention to me, or during playtime, I can get a little overexcited and may scratch or nip a little, but it’s not too serious. I do need to learn some manners, or do I? I like to steal human food if left unattended. Is that really my fault? And sometimes I’ll nibble on your plants, please make sure they aren’t poisonous to kitties. I'm an all-around purrfect cat if I may say so myself. Are you ready to add lots of cuteness and fun to your home? Are you ready to add lots of cuteness and fun to your home? Apply to meet me! You can see more of me in my foster home here @sf_fosterfriend and my previous foster home here @dj_capy_. Please note: Indoor onlyMore information & application [ts=1747465349&src=aap]
