My story

Hi, I’m Benson—but you can call me Benny Boy!I’m an American Staffy Mix with a big heart, a soft belly, and a bit of sass (the good kind). I love playing outside, especially if there’s sunshine—I could lay in the sun all day if you’d let me!I might be young, but I’m already a smart cookie. I know how to sit, shake a paw, and wait for my food like a gentleman until I hear my release word. I’m kennel trained and almost fully potty trained—I do my best, but sometimes I have a little accident. (Hey, I’m still learning!)I love other dogs and people—everyone I meet is a new friend! I haven’t met any cats or kids yet, but I think I’d be cool with them too. I’m calm for a pup, but I definitely have my silly, playful moments. My favorite things? Peanut butter, cuddling with my foster family, and making people smile.If you’re looking for a snuggly, smart, and gentle best friend who’s always up for a little fun (and a lot of love), I might be your boy. I can’t wait to find my furever home—maybe it’s with you?Likes: taking naps with my family and being outside , learning new tricks. Dislikes: sleeping in my own bed at night. I would prefer to sleep with my foster family in their bed as I love physical contact and snuggles . Special requests: preferably a family that has a brother or sister for me to play with . But as long as I get snuggles and play time with my humans I am very happy. Kennel trained : yes (needs potty break after about 6 hours, I’m still little ) House trained : almost, sometimes I forget I need to go outside. But I’ve almost got the hang of it .Dogs: yes please Cats : not sure but I love everyone Children: not sure but I am pretty gentle and love to run around and play
