My story

“It's just the most amazing thing to love a dog." And do we have a dog who will be a much loved part of her new family - meet Gloria! Why we love her: Gloria is such a gentle, graceful dog and wonderful company! She is five years old and weighs 53 pounds. Her "sugar-kissed" muzzle and brindle coat is as warm as her personality and her tail never stops wagging. Gloria trots happily at your side and is such a charming, well mannered companion - one of our volunteers says she is easy to walk and so sweet! She also enjoys running and playing in the fenced yard. Gloria has one of those happy doggy faces that looks like she is smiling at you - and you can't help but smile back! She is very affectionate and a favorite cuddle buddy. Gloria has enjoyed play groups with several of her fellow shelter dogs. If you have another dog, we do require a meet and greet to ensure compatibility. Gloria is a bright dog who wants to please and should do well mastering any commands you wish to teach her.
