My story

Meet Opal – born around March 10, 2025 – a black and grey tabby sweetheart with a soft spirit and a heart full of love. Opal is the calm observer of her kitten crew, preferring cozy cuddles and quiet naps over rough-and-tumble play. While her siblings are busy with acrobatics and wrestling matches, you’ll often find Opal nestled peacefully between someone’s feet or batting gently at a toy from the sidelines. This little lady has a shy and observant nature but warms up quickly with kind attention and gentle affection. She especially adores head scratches, snuggling close to her people, and quiet moments. Opal does best in a home where she can enjoy calm companionship and the comfort of being close to her humans—especially if someone is home more often to keep her company. She’s done wonderfully with children as young as 3 and enjoys the company of her kitten siblings, even if she sometimes takes a break from the more intense play sessions. With continued love and encouragement, Opal is gaining confidence each day and would blossom in a family that understands her thoughtful, affectionate ways. Opal is litter box trained and would be a perfect match for a first-time pet parent or anyone looking for a quiet, loving companion. She’d also love to be adopted with one of her siblings—Diamond, Topaz, or Emerald—if you’re looking to bring home a bonded pair.
