My story

  Otis - Male DOB 2/17/2022 Domestic Short Hair - Brown/White Tabby Otis is a large, lovable boy with a lot of heart. His early life wasn’t easy—he was kept in a cage for years in a home without even a proper litter box, forced to use toilet paper instead. But since coming into our care, he’s made great strides. With the help of a patient foster, he learned how to use a litter box again and now does just fine with both clay and corn-based litter, as long as the box has high sides. Otis is still a little shy, but he enjoys gentle pets and will lean into face rubs when he feels safe. He does well with other mellow cats and would be happy with a laid-back feline friend, but he’d also do just fine on his own. He’s not suited for homes with dogs or small children, but he’s ready to find a home where he’ll be treated with kindness and given plenty of time to relax. A soft bed, some sunny windows, and a person who understands what he’s been through would mean the world to him.
