My story

Meet Diamond – born around March 10, 2025 – a striking black and grey tabby with a big personality and even bigger heart. This confident, brave, and loving girl is the “leader of the pack” among her siblings (Topaz, Emerald, and Opal) and always the first to explore a new toy, greet you at the door, or claim the best seat for chin scratches. Diamond is curious and clever—if she sees you giving one of her siblings attention, she’ll gently sneak in and place her head right where you’re petting, hoping to steal a few extra snuggles. She’s also never shy about letting you know when it’s mealtime and always makes sure she’s front and center for the first bite. Diamond loves scratch posts, wrestling with her siblings, playing, and being near her people. She’s litter box trained and thrives when included in the action of the home. She’s been around children as young as 3 and has done beautifully with kids of all ages. While she hasn’t met dogs yet, she gets along great with her kitten siblings and would adjust well to other animals with proper introductions. Diamond enjoys being the center of attention and might try to keep toys and snuggles all to herself, but that just means she truly treasures your affection. Diamond would be a wonderful fit for many families, including first-time adopters. Whether adopted on her own or alongside one of her siblings, she’s ready to bring love, playfulness, and a little sass into your home. Diamond is current on vaccines, and her adoption fee includes her future spay and microchip. Contact us at adopt@carolinapaws.com to learn more or apply!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Diamond, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
