My story

Hi, I'm Jake, Jake from State Farm... I may seem shy at first but give me time. I am about 6 months old and my foster family is still working with me as I am slow to trust but do want another friendly cat to play with too. Can you give me your patience in exchange for my forever love to you? I love pets and chin scratches and will purr for you quickly but I just don't love to be picked up. Will you love me on my kitty terms? I was once a stray but on a funny side, here is my story...(hope you have a sense of humor too!) You may wonder how I got that name. Well, it's a funny story. One day, I was practicing my typing skills on a donated computer at the shelter. I accidentally dialed the number for a certain insurance company and before I knew it, I was chatting with a human named Jake from State Farm. He was very nice, but he seemed a bit confused when I told him I was a cat. Anyway, I'm a sweet and slightly shy guy looking for a forever home. If you're in need of a loyal friend who can help you find the best insurance deals (just kidding!), I'm your guy.
