My story

Watchful, Hopeful, Affectionate Redstart is a sensitive girl who is opening up slowly but surely. She may come off shy at first, but once she’s feeling comfortable and confident, she leans all the way into affection, and gives deep rumbly purrs with little trills mixed in. She's got a soft spot for catnip, and you’ll often find her perched up high, watching the world from the top tier of her cat tree. Redstart coexists peacefully with dogs—she's even showing early signs of trust with her canine foster sibling—but other cats stress her out, so she’d prefer to be your one-and-only feline. Sudden foot movements can still startle her, hinting that she may have had a rough start in life, but her capacity to open up and connect is a beautiful thing to witness.
