My story

Tootie (approximately 33 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in South Carolina. She is a magnificent specimen of doghood who was lucky enough to spend time in a Southern foster home, so we'll let her foster mama tell you all about her:Tootie is the best girl! She is so cute and round and pibby! She is well-adjusted, has not had any issues with my dog Max or the cats in passing, eats enthusiastically and has not had any accidents. She prefers rope toys and one I have that is Petstages "Dogwood," made of compressed wood chips. It is her favorite and really helps her get energy out when she is feeling chewy. She does well crated, she goes in with some toys and a peanut butter Kong and she does bark a bit when I leave the house, but she has not been barking any time that I have returned, so I think she settles quickly. She is a sweet girl, loves to jump up on the couch with me and she makes the best noises! She sounds like a little pig when she gets excited lol! New information - Tootie appears to be selective with other dogs. She appreciates a slow introduciton and may to best with dogs that will be respectful and give her space. If you've always wanted a snorty little piglet of your own, please stop by the Adoption Center's OPEN HOURS EVERY DAY EXCEPT WEDNESDAY from 11am to 4pm, or contact the NHSPCA at info@nhspca.org Primary Color: Tan Secondary Color: White Weight: 15 Age: 5yrs 1mths 1wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Tootie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
