My story

**Cicil: Zoomies, Snuggles, Repeat** Cicil is a 3-year-old brindle blur of joy—equal parts energizer bunny and snuggle champion. This medium-sized mix breed has two speeds: *warp zoom* and *lap puddle.* He’ll fly around the yard like he’s auditioning for a superhero movie, then promptly crash into your lap, belly up, ready for a solid session of tummy rubs. Bright and attention-loving, Cicil absolutely *lives* for human interaction. He’s the kind of dog who will greet new people like long-lost friends and has never met a lap he didn’t try to fit in. While he’s sweet and goofy with humans, he’s also quite the handful—in the most endearing way possible. He’s got big feelings, big energy, and an even bigger heart. When Cicil first arrived at the rescue, he was a little unsure. But once we got him into playgroups with other dogs, he came alive! He plays hard and fast, and while he means well, he sometimes forgets that not every dog appreciates his full-contact enthusiasm. Smaller or more delicate pups might prefer to admire Cicil from a safe distance, but he listens beautifully to dog corrections and human direction. He’s responsive, eager to please, and ready to learn. A basic obedience class will help refine his manners—especially his excited jumping and occasional mouthiness—but underneath that wild-child exterior is a bright, loving dog who just wants to be part of the action (and by “action,” we mean *your lap*). If you’re looking for a high-energy, high-affection best friend who will zoom his way into your heart and keep it warm with snuggles, Cicil is your guy.
