Koda

My story

Koda is your typical sweet, somewhat aloof Akita. He was surrendered due to the owners housing issues. Owner said knows basic commands like sit, stay and load up. Owner says he enjoys car rides, walks, hiking, playing in the water, fetch and cuddles. He has been an indoor and outdoor dog. He will need a large yard with a secure fence. He is supposed to be good with teens and young kids with slow introductions. He also needs slow introductions to other dogs. It is unknown how he is with cats. No chickens. He has been pretty laid back and aloof at the shelter so far. He usually explores the yard, then lies down next to one of our volunteers or comes up for back scratches. Koda is neutered, current on vaccs and ready for his furever home.
