My story

Lady is having a stroke of bad luck. Her owner has had legal problems and left her with the shelter but came back for her. Now the owner needs to travel across country for help and there was no one to take care of Lady. She arrived to the shelter on 5/11. Lady is 3 years old and weighs in at 47 pounds. She knows to sit, stay, shake and lay down when asked. It is reported that she is house trained, good with dogs and children. Lady is beauty, brains and heart. She checks a lot of boxes and has lots of love to give to a new family. Would you give this girl a chance at happily ever after? Ask for ID# 9931 Run 853. She is spayed and will be micro-chipped upon adoption. She has tested negative for heart worm. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
