My story

Max & Teddy – Not Yet Available for Adoption Max and Teddy are two 5-year-old Miniature Poodle mixes who are currently in a loving foster home, beginning their journey of healing and learning what it means to be pets. These boys spent the first five years of their lives living entirely outdoors, with very little human interaction. When they arrived at the shelter, they were terrified, untrusting, and unable to be touched. Thankfully, Max and Teddy were rescued just in time #ThanksToDaisy and are now decompressing in a safe, quiet environment. They are being given time, patience, and positive reinforcement to help them adjust to indoor living and build trust with people. They are not yet available for adoption as they are still working through their emotional and medical recovery. But their progress so far has been incredibly promising. We are so proud of how far they've come, and we’re excited to see the loving, happy dogs they’re becoming—one step at a time.
