My story

🐾 Meet Max Max spent over five years living outside — exposed to the elements, overlooked by the world, and surviving the only way he knew how. Through it all, his one constant was his brother, Teddy. They curled up beside each other on cold nights, braved storms together, and found quiet comfort in simply not being alone. Now safe in foster care, Max is finally learning what it means to feel secure, loved, and part of a home. With time, patience, and routine, he has made incredible progress. Once he trusts you, Max is a total cuddle bug who stays right by your side, soaking in affection and finding joy in simply being near his person. 🦴 Crate trained 🚗 Great in the car 🏠 House & potty trained 🎓 Food motivated and eager to learn new tricks Max and Teddy are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. Their connection runs deep, forged through years of surviving with no one but each other. Separating them would only cause distress and undo the healing they’ve worked so hard to achieve. Together, they feel safe, confident, and whole. 🏡 Max and Teddy need a calm, adult-only home with someone who is either experienced with dogs or willing to learn and follow our support and guidance. We will be with you every step of the way to ensure a successful transition and happy life for both.
