My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!I have medical needs that staff will address with you when you meet me.Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!Station tolerates attention and petting but appears to be moderately fearful or stressed in the shelter. He will likely need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that he go to an adult-only home with some cat experience preferred or at least be well counseled in fearful cat behavior. Station may be intimidated by small children.A volunteer writes: Found along the median of the highway, the loud noises that accompany the racing cars are hardly fit for a baby such as Station, so he was easily picked up by a good Samaritan. The shelter has been a great place for him to take a bit of a breather and figure out what exactly his style is. There are times Station is right at the front of his condo. Nuzzling the door and chirping his hopes you'll notice him and maybe even come to visit. There are other times Station wants to sort through his thoughts on his own. He's well rounded like that. When I last visited with Station, he looked up from his bed and seemed to sigh as he good naturedly accepted my offering of pets. Watching Station figure things out at his own kitty pace has been great, but what we really want is for him to find the family that's meant for him.
