My story

Hi, I'm Leah, and I'm a Southern Belle. I volunteered to move North and arrived at HAWS from the south to make room for another cat at that shelter. So adopting me means you are saving two cats, how great is that!? Since arriving, I've been adjusting  and each week I've gotten less scared. Please understand I'm a bit of a wallflower now but that doesn't mean I don't crave companionship or my personality will bloom in a loving home. I am sweet and shy.  With patience and your gentle touch, I know I will come out of my shell. I've found that treats are the quickest way to my heart and I like them all - crunchy or lick-able. They make me feel safe and loved, and they're delicious too! My dream is to find a quiet, calm home where I can feel secure and loved. Could it be yours?
