My story

Meet Butters, a four month old Pit mix weighing around 14 pounds.Butters came in to us with a skin issue that has since been treated, it will just take a while for her fur to grow back in. This is one heck of a playful girl. Butters is outgoing with energy to spare! She is extremely outgoing and loves everyone and everything. This smart cookie is already learning `sit` and enjoys her treats. Please remember that Butters is a puppy and puppy behavior comes with the package. They need basic training and potty training along with being provided chew toys to encourage proper chewing habits. All puppies require socializing from a young age to help them become the best, most well-rounded dog they can be.This pet is available for adoption on 5/1/2025 at 10:50 AM at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. If you recognize this animal please contact the adoption center at 509-457-6854.Interested in adopting this or another YHS pet? Please complete our adoption questionnaire found at: https://yakimahumane.org/adopt/apply/Our adoption fee includes a lovable companion, spay/neuter, vaccinations and intestinal worming, flea/tick treatment, rabies vaccine (for pets over 3-4 months of age) and a microchip with nationwide registration. Your adoption fee helps support YHS and our spay/neuter efforts in the community to end overpopulation of cats and dogs.If you have any questions, please e-mail us at adoption@yakimahumane.org.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Butters, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
