My story

How this pet arrived: Duke was brought in by a previous owner. At SDHS:Duke has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered. Duke is now ready for his new home! Why Duke might be the one for you: Look at Duke. With his strong and confident appearance, he exudes loyalty and protector because that is what he is all about. He greets staff and volunteers at the front of his kennel with his ears up, eager to go for a walk. Duke will benefit from dog savvy owners who can continue the positive reinforcement training we have started. He is smart and wants to learn and seems to understand that training and boundaries are good. We have resources to help you work with a dog like Duke so he can be your loyal friend who will want to keep you safe and sound - because that is the kind of guy he is. He is looking for an active home where he can get lots of daily exercise and enrichment. While Duke is friendly with people, he is not a huge fan of other dogs in his personal space, so he would prefer to be the only fur baby in your life. If you'd like to learn more about Duke, come visit him at the San Diego Campus today! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 63.3 Age: 7yrs 4mths 2wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Duke, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
