My story

Hi, I`m Duffy! I am a scruffy little pup looking for a new lease on life. I can be sweet and affectionate, but I am also cautious and have my guard up until I know I can trust people. I have shown significant handling sensitivity and I don`t react well to being forced to do anything or touched when I don`t solicit attention. Any children in the home should be 13 and older who can respect my boundaries and won`t be too handsy with me. I may do well with another dog and/or cat with proper introductions. I may be sassy but I am also a dog who just wants safety and companionship for the rest of my life. I hope you will consider adopting a persnickety pooch like me!---If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history.
