My story
Chewy (born around April of 2012) is a senior Yorkshire terrier who came to Safe Haven when his previous owner was reunited with him through his microchip information after being lost for EIGHT years. Unfortunately, the owner was unable to care for the sweet little old man anymore, and he was surrendered to Safe Haven. Chewy is partially blind and hard of hearing, but he loves to go for walks around the sanctuary and spend time with humans. He gets along well with other small dogs and is currently living with a group of small breed seniors. Chewy is looking for a loving family who will dote on him with plenty of love and affection in his twilight years.
