Amelia Azalea

My story

Amelia is a white and red brindle 3-year-old female pit mix who was brought to the shelter as a stray and was not reclaimed. Amelia came in with a severely infected umbilical hernia and needed a surgery. Our community stepped up and donated the money for her. She has had the surgery and is ready to find her FURever home now. Amelia has also been spayed and brought current on her rabies vaccination. She has done well with other dogs here at the shelter and has yet to meet a person she doesn't like. We do not know how she is with cats. She is also heart worm negative. You would be hard pressed to find a more loving companion. Amelia is a NO CHARGE adoption in memory of Linda Jako.Dogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. All cats and kittens are $75.00 unless otherwise noted. Our system automatically updates adoptable websites every two hours. Feel free to email or call us with any questions you may have. Our contact number is 270-887-4175. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Strays have a wait list.
