My story

Meet Ray – Zoom Master, Cuddle Expert, and Wand Toy Connoisseur 🖤 Sweet Baby Ray isn’t just a nickname — it’s a lifestyle. Ray is just over 1 year old and a lovable goofball with a serious need for speed. This boy can ZOOM! Whether he’s doing laps around the living room or launching into full-on acro-cat mode across the bed, Ray brings the action wherever he goes. His favorite toy? A green wiggle worm wand (green only, please and thank you), followed closely by anything with feathers. He takes playtime very seriously. But once the zoomies are out of his system, Ray becomes an absolute cuddle king. He loves being close to his humans — the closer the better — and will happily sprawl out next to you or right on top of you for a nap. Ray is silly, sweet, and affectionate with just the right amount of mischief. He gets along well with other respectful cats, enjoys being brushed, and will even tolerate nail trims for the right treat. Ray is looking for a forever home with his sister, Cora — they’re a bonded pair and must be adopted together. Ray brings the energy, Cora brings the curiosity, and together they’ll fill your home with joy, laughter, and love. Please be sure to read a cat's full bio before applying! We do our best to keep bios updated as we learn more about each cat or as circumstances change. The bio is the best place to find the most current and important information about their needs, personality, and ideal home. Thank you for your interest in adopting from Scruffy Paws Animal Rescue! If this post is still up, we are still accepting applications for this cat(s)/kitten(s). There's no need to email us about availability, just submit an application if you're interested!
