My story

Meet Kenai! Kenai came to Animal Friends after being rescued from a neglectful situation. She is a very sweet and medium energy 6 year old who walks wonderfully on the leash, and even will stay in step beside you. She can be a little shy at first, but will lean into you and give you kisses - always asking for more pets. She's just a sweet girl who loves attention. She can become a little sensitive to some handling, so adopters would need to listen to her body language and give her space when she wants it. She could live with children ages 13 years and up as long as they are comfortable around larger dogs. She could also potentially live with another dog pending a successful meet and greet.
