Named after a character from the Mean Girls movie, Karen Smith is independent, observant, and curious. She wins every staring contest and likes to either lay at your feet or on the couch near you. While she may be the smallest and shyest of her siblings, she still loves treats and playing and being near you. Purr meter 1.5/5 and risingMomma Cady is FIV-positive, which means they carry her antibodies. Because of that, any FIV test before 6 months old can give a “false positive.” That’s why it’s recommended to wait until 8-12 months for an accurate result. But here’s the good news: most kittens born to FIV-positive moms are NOT actually infected. Even in the rare* case one tests positive later on, they can still live long, happy lives with other cats and loving families. Is 23-years-old long enough for you?** FIV doesn’t spread through cuddles, grooming, or shared food bowls.Don’t hesitate because of the unknown-- embrace the known! And that is that this litter is loving, social, and ready to snuggle and play.*While it's relatively rare, approximately 25% of kittens born to a mother cat with FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) may be infected with the virus.Available for adoption from Kitty Kat Haven and RescueHoover, AL 35226205-302-8883
