My story

Guppy is 9 weeks old today and weighed in at 8 lbs! His foster family reports that he’s a very good boy, as he is laid-back, affectionate, and sweet. He is friendly with all people and dogs he meets. He loves to play with other dogs and with toys, and he is always down to snuggle with his fosters. Guppy is kennel trained and doing well with potty training. According to his Wisdom Panel results, Guppy is an American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier mix. His estimated adult weight is between 40 and 71 lbs. Guppy was born with a cleft lip, but it doesn’t affect his quality of life. He’s a happy and healthy puppy who just has a unique look! If you’re interested in adopting Guppy, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org. *Due to his breed makeup, no apartments please. *He will be neutered by the rescue when he is older! *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2349441##
