My story

This handsome boy is Tyse! He was surrendered to the shelter on 5/7 because his person is having some hardships and wasn't able to care for Tyse any longer. His person did note that Tyse is crate-trained, house-trained, and good with other dogs! The volunteers describe Tyse as friendly and attentive to people. Tyse can be jumpy when excited, so he'll need to learn not to jump up, but he is also treat-motivated so he'll work to earn treats. He does know how to sit nicely when asked. Tyse also has the most velvet-y ears you'll ever touch, they're just begging to be petted! If Tyse sounds like the new BFF you've been searching for, please come meet him today! Tyse is approximately 9 months old and weighs 64 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. He is will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Tyse is waiting patiently in run 873; his ID # is 9867. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
