My story

*** Currently residing in a foster home. A meet and greet will be arranged with an approved application. ***Hi, I`m Stan, I am a 1 1/2-year-old all black male kitty. When I was first found it was almost too much to bear. My face was swollen beyond recognition from an infection, and my spirit seemed just as battered. I had been surviving alone, sick, hurting, and invisible to the world — but somehow, deep inside, I never gave up hope. Against all odds, I fought to live. After weeks of medical care, slow healing, and more love than I ever knew existed, I started to come back to life. Today, I am healthy, but my heart still carries the scars of the life I escaped. After everything I`ve survived, I still lean in for affection, trusting more every day! Once I feel safe, I love to snuggle close, wanting to give head butts and purring like crazy. I`ve got spunk and love to play, but sometimes get over stimulated, so a calm, quiet, adult home where I can keep building my confidence would be ideal.
