PRE-ADOPTION OPPORTUNITY: Almond Joy ("AJ") will be ready June 2025 (he is waiting to be neutered).  Introducing Almond Joy (AJ)! A family was evacuating their home and heard them crying, desperate and alone. They looked for mama cat but never found her. The kind people scooped them up and brought them to the Humane Society of Oldham County. These bundles of joy act like they know they were rescued, because from day one they were grateful and happy to be in foster care! AJ'S PERSONALITY: AJ has zero interest in being left out of anything. Open a drawer? He’ll peek in. Head to the bathroom? He’ll follow. Sit down? He’s in your lap before you’ve finished settling. He’s endlessly curious but never chaotic—a calm, content, and joyful presence in your home. He’s got listening ears, kind eyes, and a soft purr. He loves tunnels and cat towers where he can watch you, curled up in a happy ball of fluff. AJ plays with heart, naps with purpose, and eats with enthusiasm (no picky eater here!). He uses cat scratchers like a pro! If you’re looking for a kitten who’s equal parts companion, comic relief, and heart warmer—AJ’s your guy.  He has grown up with cats and MUST have a Forever Family with a kitty companion to call his buddy. Out of respect for the Resident Kitty (kitties), we strongly recommend a cat companion that is less than 7-8 years old to best acclimate to the kitten pep. He will be ready in June 2025. He is up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. He tested negative for FIV and FeLV. Submit your application today!
