My story

Hi, I’m Balloon—a sweet, goofy pup with a big heart and a twinkle in my eye. I came into rescue not knowing much, but I’ve been learning fast! I started potty training on pads (because it rained a lot when I arrived), and now I go outside like a champ—as long as the door opens in time. If not, I still know where the pads are!I get super excited to meet people and sometimes do a little happy dance on my hind legs to say hello—it’s my signature move while I learn not to jump. I’m working on polite greetings and picking it up quickly with some guidance and treats.While I don’t live with other animals, I’ve made a calm and respectful friend in a feral cat who visits through the fence. I don’t bark or chase, and we peacefully hang out just feet apart!I’m looking for a loving home with someone who can continue helping me learn the ropes. I’m eager to please, full of affection, and ready to be your new best friend!
