My story

River came in as a stray to our favorite shelter in Texas...We saw his frightened face and couldn't turn away...River is a beautiful black lab, about 2 years old, 65 lbs, very responsive, loving and has some basic training...River is very smart and quick to learn, in fact, he LOVES to learn...🙂... River is a character, who loves being with people and thoroughly enjoys playing with other dogs...🙂...As with most young labs, River needs daily physical and mental exercise off-leash, so he can explore his environment and play unimpeded...River will need another canine friend in his new home and a large fenced yard for romping...River would love to find a home where his people are moderately active, will continue his training and take him on hikes in the woods, swimming and other fun activities...🥰...He also requires lots of cuddles and love...❤...How he is with cats is unknown...River has some strange hair loss on his side and legs, that looks like he might have been burned at some point in his life, but the hair loss does not detract from his undeniable beauty...
