My story

Aurora and her pal, Aphrodite, came from an extremely horrible hoarding and neglect situation. These girls have trauma bonded to each other and we would like to see them go to a home together. They are really unhappy when separated but are sweet and content when they get to spend time with each other. They will need a little work on being housebroken but they do keep a clean kennel at the shelter. They get along well with other dogs, especially small dogs. They are cat and adult friendly. We think younger, and louder, kids would be too overwhelming but they would be fine with older kids who don`t go around screaming in their face. They like to be pet and are fine with being held. They are slowly but surely getting used to being on leashes. They are really sweet girls who just want a home together where they will actually be loved.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Aurora, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
