My story

Meet Lavender! Lavender’s story is one of heartbreaking cruelty and incredible resilience. She was found in terrible shape after her previous owners viciously chopped off her tail, starved her, and dumped her at the shelter like she was nothing. But Lavender is a survivor. Since coming into our care, she has made an amazing recovery. She’s now at a perfect, healthy weight and her wounds have healed beautifully. That little nub tail—what’s left of it—wiggles just like a Corgi’s when she’s happy, and it’s absolutely adorable. Lavender is dog-friendly and incredibly sweet. She loves being close to her people and is perfectly content cuddled up next to you on the couch. She’s quiet, gentle, and full of love despite everything she’s been through. She’s healthy, safe, and finally ready to find her forever family. Lavender has been through so much, and she deserves a home where she will never know pain or neglect again.
