Riplee is a beautiful and loving 2-year-old sheepadoodle who turns heads wherever she goes. Weighing 46 pounds, she's one of our biggest pups, but she’s great with kids (recently spending time with a 3- and 10-year-old), and gets along well with other dogs. Riplee is a total cuddlebug who loves fetch, tug, and showering her people with kisses. She’s happiest when she’s close to her humans and is working through some mild separation anxiety—but has already made great progress in just a month! Her ideal day includes two rounds of fetch in a big yard and a couple of medium-length walks. Riplee is a true people-pleaser and adjusts easily to the household vibe—active when you are, and snuggly when it’s time to rest. She’s ready to be someone’s loving and loyal shadow. ----- Thank you for your interest in adopting a dog from Little Dog Rescue. Our dogs come from a variety of sources and backgrounds. They are all in need of adopters that have patience, an understanding of where these dogs have come from, and that there will be an adjustment time when they transition into their forever home. This can include learning basic commands, walking on leash and potty training. Some dogs will pick up on your routine and expectations faster than others. Potty accidents will happen. We find that positive reinforcement, consistency, and routine from the adopter achieves the best results. We are a small, all volunteers team and give 100% of our efforts towards doing right by these pups. We are often juggling many responsibilities at the same time and do our very best to process inquiries and applications in a timely manner. We do prioritize inquiries that have a submitted application on file through the Little Dog Rescue website. We do our best to accurately assign breed designations, however we are unable to guarantee 100% accuracy. Sometimes we only have the dogs appearance to go on. Our adoption fees are thoughtfully considered. The adoption fee is not a purchase price for the dog. It is a fee that is designed to support the overall work of our rescue. Highly desirable dogs and puppies are intentionally listed with a higher adoption fee. This is done to help offset the enormous medical expenses we incur when taking in older pups and special needs medical dogs whose adoption fees do not come close to covering their expenses. In addition, the vast majority of our dogs are brought in from out of state and incur transport fees along with their medical and acquisition costs. We ask that you take all of these things into consideration, and we look forward to finding a great match for your family.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Riplee, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
