Red

My story

Red is a loving kitty with a face that says “back off,” and eyes that plead, “please love me.” He wants affection deeply—but instead of meowing or cozying up like other cats, he’ll just sit and stare at you. Not in a creepy way (okay, maybe a little), but in that quiet, hopeful way that says he’s trying to figure out how to ask for love without actually asking. Eventually, the wall cracks: a head butt here, a slow flop there, and suddenly you’re in the presence of a cat who loves hard, just quietly. Red may look like he’s got his guard up, but really, he’s just a softie trying to be understood. Red would thrive in a calm home where he can continue learning how to love out loud.
