Ruby

My story

Ruby was surrendered to us from a puppy mill. She is too small to be bred. Her back is very short. We do have an xray on her just for a baseline. Part of her adoption Will be that she is required to stay on mandatory insurance. Because of her tiny build, she will be at a higher risk for IVDD and we want to ensure that the treatment would be covered, Should that ever happen to her. Her new family will also have to be very mindful of her back and use dog stairs and keep her from flying off furniture. For this reason alone, we are saying no small children eight years and up, please She is completely fine with children of all ages. We just want to minimize any risk of her getting injured. Ruby is an absolute doll and is still very much a puppy She loves other dogs and loves to play. She absolutely loves to chew things and her new family will need to provide her with proper two toys and be mindful of what is left on the floor. She ignores cats and is fully housebroken. She uses a dog door right now and sleeps in a crate at night. She will bark a little bit at first, and then she settles down and goes to bed. We would prefer her go to home with other dogs as she absolutely needs a fur sibling. Ruby is spayed, up-to-date on all of her shots and micro chipped and will also come with her back x-ray and insurance that we will transfer to her new adopters. She is fostered in Sioux City
