My story

Meet Bud! Bud is a very shy boy who’s still working on building trust with people—but when it comes to other cats, his heart is wide open. He lights up around his feline friends and finds comfort, confidence, and joy in their company. Bud is looking for a patient, understanding home that will give him the time he needs to settle in and feel safe. With the steady presence of a kind cat by his side, we hope he’ll learn to trust his humans and start to enjoy the love and care he deserves. Bud must go home with one of his feline friends from the shelter or to a home with a friendly resident cat who can help show him the ropes. 🐱 Little health note: Bud has tested negative for FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus), but he lived with a cat who has a regressive FeLV infection. This means the virus is suppressed and not actively spreading—but there is a very small chance it could still be contagious. The risk is low, especially in adult cats, but it’s something to be aware of when adopting. We’re happy to answer any questions and help you feel confident about welcoming Bud into your home! 🐾
