My story

Meet Remi Jack, an 11-pound, 6-month-old Shih Tzu with a gentle soul and the sweetest eyes. Remi came to us as part of a group of 13 Shih Tzus surrendered by their owner, and he’s one of the more timid members of the bunch. He’s still figuring out the world around him, and everything is very new—and a little scary. Because of this, Remi will need a patient and understanding adopter who can give him the time and space to decompress, feel safe, and build confidence at his own pace. While he’s shy and reserved with people at first, once he starts to trust you, you’ll see his soft, sweet personality begin to shine. He does well with other dogs and will need another active, confident dog in the home to help him feel more secure and adjust to his new life. Remi is still very much a puppy, which means he comes with puppy energy and curiosity—but also needs continued help with leash walking, potty training, and general structure. He’s eager to learn, but he’ll need a reassuring environment and a family who understands that progress takes time. If you’re the kind of person who finds joy in helping a shy dog blossom into a confident companion, Remi Jack might just be your perfect match. Adoption fee is: $650 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022
