My story

Meet Brownie Batter, a 1-year, 10-month-old Shih Tzu weighing in at 14 pounds with a soft heart and a gentle spirit. Brownie Batter was surrendered to us along with 12 of his Shih Tzu siblings. Like many of them, he didn’t get the early socialization he needed, so he’s still learning that the world—and the people in it—aren’t so scary. He’s very shy and reserved around people, but deep down, there’s a sweet, loving dog just waiting to feel safe enough to shine. He gets along well with other dogs and will need another active, confident dog in the home to help guide him and build his confidence. A canine companion will be key in helping him learn the ropes and settle into family life. Brownie Batter is still working on his leash and potty training skills and will need a patient adopter to help him perfect them. He’s a quiet, observant pup who thrives in a calm, structured environment where he can grow at his own pace. If you believe in the magic of second chances and have room in your heart (and home) for a shy dog with so much potential, Brownie Batter just might be the one for you. Adoption fee is: $550 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022
