My story

How this pet arrived: Boomer was brought in by his previous owner on April 22, 2025. Why Boomer is the one for you:Boomer is a lovable, active dog who is ready to find his new home! Boomer absolutely loves being pet and will roll onto his back for belly rubs whenever you're near. With his love for car rides and a natural curiosity, he's always ready for an adventure. He has plenty of energy and loves to run, so he's hoping for an active owner who enjoys time outdoors. He is potty trained and crate trained, showcasing his excellent manners! Although he has gotten along well with another dog in his previous home, he can be a barker when he see's other unfamiliar dogs and he will need to go to a home where he's not running into new dogs all the time. if you have another canine friend in the home, make sure to bring them along to meet Boomer! This handsome boy could also use a refresher on leash manners (he's a strong guy!) and may do best in a home with slightly older kiddos. Boomer is very friendly and gets along with everyone he meets-he's just looking for someone to share his love with. If you're ready for a fun, affectionate companion, Boomer might be the perfect fit for you! Make sure to bring the entire household (including any children) to meet him today! At SDHS:Boomer has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He is now ready for his new home!Dog Reactive Dog:  This pet requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about them. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 85.4 Age: 3yrs 1mths 2wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Boomer, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
