My story

Hi, I’m Ziek! I’m a 10-year-old Siberian Husky with striking mismatched eyes—one blue, one brown—and the playful heart of a puppy. Don’t let my age fool you, I’ve got plenty of pep in my step and love to go on adventures! I can easily keep up with you for 2 to 3 miles if you're up for a jog or a long walk. But when the excitement winds down, I’m all about being by your side, watching your every move and “talking” to you in true Husky fashion. I’m housebroken, crate trained (though I’d much rather hang out with you), and I’ve done great with medium and large dogs at the park. I’d prefer a home without small dogs, cats, or kids—I’m more of a grown-up’s best friend. Now, let’s talk tricks! I’ll do sit, shake, down, and roll over, sometimes all in one lightning-fast burst of excitement! And here’s a funny one: if you jump in front of me, I’ll flop into a roll like it’s my signature move. I promise I’ll keep you laughing! Like any good Husky, I’ve got a few quirks: I might sneak into the trash if you’re not looking, and I sometimes push my food around before I eat it (gotta make it just right!). I can be a little eager on leash, especially when I spot another dog, but I’m working hard on my manners and love learning new things. What makes me special? I’m sweet, joyful, full of life, and I just want to be a part of your world. I adore belly rubs, being brushed, and simply hanging out with my humans.
