My story

Hi, I’m Calista — your future tiny lap warmer and cuddle buddy extraordinaire! I may be small in size, but I’m overflowing with love, purrs, and playfulness.I’m what you might call a “pocket kitty”—super petite, super soft, and super into pets. You can give me all the head scritches and back rubs your heart desires—I’ll soak it up with happy purrs. I love curling up in your lap for a good nap (you might barely notice I’m there!), and when I’m not snoozing, you’ll find me zipping around with my feline friends or chasing invisible mysteries only I can see.I get along great with other cats and love having some company around, especially when the humans step out for a bit. I might meow a little when I notice you’ve left, but I settle down quickly—especially if there are other furry pals nearby.I’m also on a little bit of medicine right now as I heal up, but I’m being a good sport about it. Oh, and I’ll be honest—I can be a bit messy with my litter box, so one with high sides works best for me.If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle, affectionate companion to fill your heart and your lap, I might just be your girl. Let’s meet and see if we’re a match made in meowgic.My adoption fee of $25 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday, Friday and Saturday are walk in from 10-5. Please fill out the online application, and you will be contacted if you are approved and are a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.
