My story

Not all heroes wear capes—some have scruffy tails and charming faces. Spelunker is a black poodle mix who may not be able to see the world in the usual way, but he feels it in every happy wag of his tail. At 16 years old, he’s mastered the art of finding the perfect spot to settle in, where he can listen to the world around him and soak in familiar sounds. Once he gets the lay of the land, he navigates like a seasoned explorer—always ready to trot off on a mission, whether it’s sniffing out hidden treats or greeting new friends with his signature happy wag. He’s small in size but huge in heart, peppy and sweet, and loves hanging out with other dogs. And let’s talk about that scruffy tail—it’s a statement piece all on its own. It’s got more personality than some reality TV stars, and honestly, it deserves its own fan club.
