My story

Meet KitKat and Twix, two absolutely stunning brothers with the fluff to match their charm! These exotic shorthair/Persian mix boys are a bonded pair, and they’re ready to melt your heart with their unique cuteness and gentle personalities. KitKat and Twix came to Anderson Humane all the way from Arkansas, where a devastating flood forced their family to surrender them to an animal shelter. Now safe and dry in a foster home, they’re patiently waiting for a loving home where they can start fresh—together. These two are total pros at lounging, cozy napping, and watching the world go by from a sunny window perch. They love a good brushing session (those luxurious coats don’t groom themselves, after all!) and are as easygoing as they come. While they might be a little shy at first, with patience and a gentle touch, KitKat and Twix open up into the most affectionate companions. Their bond is heartwarming to witness, and they have so much love to give. If you're looking for a mellow, adorable duo to share your space (and your couch), KitKat and Twix are the perfect pair. All of our cats and kittens go home spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on their core vaccines, as well as flea and tick preventatives. Each adoption also includes a 3.5-pound bag of Iams cat food and a free vet exam at one of our participating veterinary partners.
