My story

Sibling of cutie pie Zach is Joe. They arrived at the Mesquite Shelter on 5/8 as strays, both weigh in at 13 pounds and at 3 months of age. Joe has all the typical puppy energy and spunk. Is he calm, timid or shy? Nope! He’s confident, outgoing and has lots of playful energy. He loved playing with his sibling in the meet and greet room before the photo session and they are kennel together. They do not necessarily need to be adopted or rescued together. He loves treats. He would undoubtedly make some person or family a loving and devoted pet. He will need a daily dose of exercise, playtime, and enrichment. All puppies need obedience training and Joe is no exception. He needs a person or family willing to put forth the required effort to help him adjust and fit in with the household. Once through the puppy stage he will find his place in the family, figure out the household rules and become an important part of the family!
