My story

Meet Savannah, a spirited and intelligent 3-year-old mixed breed with a heart as big as her energy levels. Medium in size and full of personality, Savannah first found her way to a loving home after being adopted from Paws Humane Society in late 2022. Recently, she returned to us on May 7, 2025, alongside her housemate and senior companion, Dakota. Savannah may be experiencing some minor skin issues that have caused some patches of missing fur, but that doesn't slow her down one bit. She remains bright-eyed, playful, and full of life. She’s a quick learner with a sharp mind, making her a great candidate for training and enrichment activities. While she can be a bit reactive when behind barriers around other dogs, she shows no signs of resource guarding and thrives in positive, structured environments. Savannah shares a special bond with Dakota, and they bring comfort and familiarity to each other. Savannah is ready for a fresh start with a family who will appreciate her lively spirit, support her continued growth, and maybe even open their hearts to both her and Dakota.
