My story

Animal ID: 949167. How this pet arrived: Davey Crocket was brought in by a community member on April 24, 2025. Why Davey Crocket is the one for you:Davey Crocket is a sensitive boy who needs a little time to feel comfortable in new places and with new people. When he first arrived, he was very shut down, but slowly and steadily, he's begun to come out of his shell - and we've loved watching his personality bloom. Davey's crate is his safe space, and he finds comfort in quiet routines. He's looking for a calm, patient home - without young children - where he can continue to build his confidence at his own pace. Once he feels secure, Davey's playful, high-energy side starts to shine, and it's clear he has so much joy to share! Due to some guarding behavior around other dogs, Davey will need to be the only pup in the home. But if you've got a peaceful environment and a soft spot for the underdog, Davey might just be the perfect companion for you. Bring the whole household to meet this special guy, and don't forget to chat with our training team to see if Davey is your match. He's been waiting for someone like you! At SDHS:Davey Crocket has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered. Davey Crocket is now ready for his new home! Primary Color: Tri Color Weight: 53.4 Age: 2yrs 1mths 2wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Davey Crockett, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
