My story

(07/20/2018) Our Star Spangled Boy, Drako, is ready to celebrate the 4th of July holiday season and every other day with you! The weather is warm and a dip in some cool water is something Drako enjoys, so if you like pools, lakes, and streams this boy would be an awesome addition to your water fun! He also loves car rides and would love hanging out with his humans and when they are traveling. He says, YES to road trips!  Drako has a cool name and cool markings making him both cute and handsome. He has the most beautiful smile that absolutely radiates happiness. He is a sweet, quiet, easy boy. He’s definitely a cuddle bug and just wants to have people to scratch his butt and let him crash on their couch. He’s pretty easy-going and doesn’t require much to keep him happy. Looking for a dog for a family with kids - he is good with children. Oh, and he has the silkiest coat that you will love to run your hands through. Drako could fit into a family with other dogs or could be an only dog...he is happy either way. If there are other dogs in the home, Drako really prefers little dogs; bigger dogs, for whatever reason, just not really his thing. Drako plays in dog daycare every once in a while but he tends to hang more with the smaller dogs even when he is there. He is happy, confident and independent so does not require a furry sibling. Speaking of furry siblings, no cats for Drako; this dude just isn't a fan of those cute, furry kitties! Drako prefers when he is outside to have a fenced yard he can just run around and play in; however, it isn't a requirement. He is pretty good on a leash and enjoys daily strolls. He may loudly "talk" to other dogs passing by and probably needs to continue to work to redirect him and help him be super well behaved. He is smart so that shouldn't be a problem at all. He is house and crate trained and likes sleeping on his cot when he it is chill out time. He is ready to find a family that wants an fairly chill, rolls with the day, doesn't need a ton of work and just wants some love and attention. You ready for this sweet boys, big smile to greet you every day??? As part of Drako's $300 adoption fee, he is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. If you have questions about this sweet boy, you can email Dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org.  If you wish to adopt Drako, you can fill in an online application for him under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website:  www.pawsforlifenc.org ##1238852##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Drako, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
