Hi there, I’m Shayla, and if you're looking for a certified snuggle bug, you’ve just met your match! I might be medium in size, but my love is extra large. I’m a total sweetheart—kisses, cuddles, booty scratches, and pretending I’m a lap dog are all part of my daily routine. I’ve got a heart full of love and I’m just waiting to share it with someone special! Before I came to MAS, life was really tough. I was rescued after being left outside in sub-zero temperatures. It was so cold, in fact, I was trying to dig a hole in the frozen ground just trying to escape the wind and find a tiny bit of warmth. Since then, I’ve been dreaming of a cozy home with someone who loves me as much as I love them! Now, I’ll be honest—I'm a little cautious when meeting new people. Strangers make me nervous, and I might be a bit apprehensive at first, but once I know you’re my kind of human? It’s game over. I’ll be your velcro shadow, your couch buddy, your late-night snuggle therapist. I just need someone patient and kind to help me feel safe and loved. At MAS, I haven’t really clicked with the other dogs, so I’d prefer to be your one and only fur baby. Trust me, I’ve got more than enough love to go around! The kennel life is a bit stressful for me—it's noisy, and I miss the simple joys of fetch in the yard and quiet cuddles on the couch. So, what do you say?
