My story

At approximately 2 years old, Lazlo is the purrfect combination of energetic orange mischief and irresistible cuteness. As a certified Catalyst Cat, he’s here to stir things up—in the best way possible. Bird watching? Check. Climbing to physics-defying heights? Check. Staring into your soul while plotting his next adorable move? Absolutely.Lazlo is affectionate, playful, and always down for a good wand toy session. His favorite toy is "Da Bird," and no day feels complete without a good chase. He may or may not believe your houseplants are part of a secret jungle mission. He’s easygoing and could potentially vibe with another feline friend—with proper introductions, of course.Bonus: Lazlo comes with a dental appointment on May 21 (fancy!) at Vetco in Smithfield, included in his adoption fee. Due to limited volunteer power, applications submitted for cats or kittens no longer available will not be reviewed. About Ten Lives:Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
