My story

Yang is a sweet, approximately 7-month-old puppy with a tender heart and a shy spirit. While he may be reserved at first, once he feels safe around you, he becomes your little shadow, always wanting to stay close. It’s as if he’s just now learning what it means to be loved. We believe Yang has experienced something traumatic in his past, which has left him unsure of how to trust. But underneath his timidity is a puppy who wants to connect. With time, patience, and gentle encouragement, he is ready to discover the joy of being part of a loving home. Yang absolutely lights up on walks—he’s great on a leash and especially enjoys trips to the park. He thrives around other dogs and also does well with children, showing curiosity and calmness in their presence. What Yang Needs: • A calm, patient home environment • A family willing to invest time in helping him build confidence • Canine companionship (optional, but he does enjoy other dogs!) • Plenty of love, gentle interactions, and positive reinforcement Yang may have had a rough start, but he’s ready for a fresh chapter. Could you be the one to show him what love really feels like? Yang's Adoption fee is $450 and includes his neuter, microchip and current vaccinations. To fill out an adoption application, visit https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SSP-A-1352 To follow Yang on her journey to a loving family on SPOT's Facebook page, visit https://facebook.com/spotsavespets/ and on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/spotsavespets/

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Yang, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
